The Work of the Hand.
Gold, fragrance, craft and care. The materials we work with and the patience they demand.
21K gold
The Richness of 21K Gold
Known for its distinctive warmth and depth of color, 21K gold has long held a special place in the jewelry traditions of the Red Sea region. At 875 parts per thousand it sits in a narrow window: pure enough to carry the deep, honeyed tone an experienced eye expects, yet strong enough to be drawn into wire finer than thread and worn every day for decades.
It is also honest. 21K gold is bought and sold by weight, at a rate the whole world can see. When you acquire a piece from us, you are acquiring the gold in it first and the craftsmanship second — and both hold their value.

Karat by karat
Why not 18, or 24?
Every karat is a trade between purity and strength. Goldsmiths around the Red Sea settled on 21 centuries ago — for good reason.
24K
99.9%
Too soft to hold filigree; bends and scratches with wear.
22K
91.6%
Rich color; used for some heavier pieces on request.
21K

The regional standard. Deep warmth, holds fine wire, wears for generations.
18K
75%
Paler and harder; the Western default, rarely used in Red Sea tradition.

Care
Gold that outlives its owner needs very little.
- Wear it. Skin oils keep 21K bright; pieces kept in a box dull faster than pieces worn.
- Warm water and a soft brush. Nothing more. No ultrasonic cleaners on filigree.
- Store apart. Wrap each piece separately; 21K marks easily against harder metals.
- Bring it back. We re-polish and repair any piece we sold, for life.
Fragrance
How to burn, wear and keep scent.
Resins. Place a small tear on a mubkhar over a lit charcoal disc. The heat should be gentle; scorching turns sweetness to smoke.
Attar. A touch at the wrist, the neck, the inner elbow. The oil unfolds with body heat over hours. No alcohol means no projection cloud — only those close enough will know.
Bakhoor. Break a small piece, place it on the burner, let the room fill slowly. The best bakhoor is never rushed.
Storage. Keep oils cool and dark. Resins will last decades if kept dry.

A World
Gathered Here.
The sea did not divide us. It carried gold, fragrance, craft and story from one shore to the other — and back again.
